HIGHLIGHTS

Introduced at least two new low sugar products as part of a balanced portfolio

Promoted healthier behaviours by launching at least two marketing initiatives encouraging active lifestyles

Worked with the Department of Health to participate in a large scale Change4Life initiative

Supported the delivery of PepsiCo Health and Wellbeing manifesto pledges relating to Britvic’s PepsiCo portfolio

Contributed to an absolute target to reduce water use by 20% by 2020, compared to 2007, with water ratio reduction of 4% targeted vs 09/10

Contributed to WRAP’s Courtauld II industry wide targets to reduce, reuse and recycle by end 2012 vs 2009

Commited to two more factories sending zero to landfill

Continued to roll out our new more efficient chiller equipment

Launched an employee health & wellbeing programme, improving work-life balance throughout the business

Encouraged personal growth through continued support for employee volunteering by increasing the number of those who participate

Supported disadvantaged children by increasing our fundraising for Barnardo’s

Continued to support our charitable partners on relevant health, social and environmental issues


 

Over the past two years we have invested over £5 million in making the packaging of Robinsons products lighter, saving 1600 tonnes of plastic per year in total.

Britvic’s Packaging Network Team has the main purpose of minimising the environmental impact of Britvic’s packaging and one of the longer term objectives this group will now focus on is to increase the use of recycled materials.
