Britvic - Britvic adds sparkle to the festive season with new J2O Glitter Berry

Leading soft drinks manufacturer Britvic is introducing a glitzy limited edition J2O variant into both the take-home and on-trade channels this Christmas. J2O Glitter Berry mixes fruity flavours with a hint of spice and glittery finish to add a touch of glamour to the adult soft drinks market this winter, and drive sales for retailers over the festive party season.

All that glitters is gold

J2O Glitter Berry has been designed for social occasions at home or in the pub. The tasty new variant is a delicious combination of red grape, cherry and a hint of spice with edible gold glitter that sparkles once the bottle is shaken. It will be available in take-home grocery in packs of four from early September at an MRRP of £3.67 and in the on-trade at an MRRP of £1.85 per bottle.

The launch will be supported by a £2.5million TV and cinema marketing campaign from November, which is themed around the ‘Smile Tastebuds’ creative seen on screens earlier this year. To drive awareness of J2O Glitter Berry, Britvic will be running sampling campaigns in grocery retail outlets and offering the on-trade glittery front of bar POS to grow sales of the number one packaged soft drink in pubs and clubs.
