River deep, mountain high

Foursome raise thousands in endurance test for charity
Case Study 2

An intrepid team of Britvic employees tackled an endurance challenge in Snowdonia, raising thousands for charity in the process.

Michael Hind and Tim Green, technical service managers, Kevin Grinstead, regional technical service manager and Peter Nisbet, regional logistics unit manager, teamed up to cycle 40 miles, climb Mount Snowdon and canoe three miles.

The challenge was organised by REGAIN, a charity that provides support for men and women who have lost the use of their limbs through sporting accidents.

It’s the first time the four had teamed up for such a feat. Peter says: ‘It was a hot day and there were various challenges along the way, but we all worked together and completed the challenge in under eight hours. We also managed to raise over £3,000 in sponsorship, including a £4£ contribution from Britvic, so thanks to everyone who helped.’
