The Payroll Giving Quality Mark is funded by HM Government and promoted by the Institute of Fundraising and Britvic has been awarded The Payroll Giving Bronze Award 2007.
Payroll giving enables employees to give to any UK charity straight from their gross salary (before tax is deducted), giving immediate tax relief of up to 40% on their donations. The real benefit is for the charities of course, as it forms a sustained, regular income stream they can rely on.
In celebration of Britvic's decision to foster a culture of philanthropy and committed giving in the workplace, by promoting 'Give as you Earn' (GAYE or Payroll Giving) to employees, Britvic has been awarded the Bronze Award as a symbol of excellence in succeeding in generating sustainable income sources for UK charities.
Did you know that Britvic contributed £430k to its communities in 2007, and this year is supporting education in Cameroon via The Rainforest Foundation and our Really Wild Drinks Co., and is helping UNICEF raise money for their Emergency Relief fund.
